Brian Lara rested

West Indies vice captain Ramnaresh Sarwan will take charge of the West Indies in the upcoming ODIs against Bangladesh. Captain Brian Lara is recovering from a damaged finger, will sit out of the first two of the three ODIs.

Lara first injured his finger in Sabina Park in March, then sat out of the first ODI against England and then injured in the final ODI.

Sarwan takes control of the team with Lara out. Devon Smith is recalled and Mervyn Dillon and Corey Collymore have been left out.

Bangladesh's first match is against a WICB XI, followed by three ODIS and two Tests:
