UCBSA Name Contracted Players

South Africa has announced their list of annually contracted players as Alan Dawson and Mfuneko Ngam missed out on coveted deal offers.
Ngam's dumping signals yet another low blow for the talented paceman - and South African cricket - that has struggled throughout his career with consistent major injuries. He was selected to return to the international scene in New Zealand but was forced to withdraw with yet another injury.
In a largely predictable list, only Albie Morkel's non-inclusion in the top 18 players rates as a surprise. He was selected for both Proteas squads for the tour of New Zealand and is currently serving with the Test side.
Morkel joins Justin Ontong and Garnett Kruger on the shortlist for contracts.
Monde Zondeki was offered a contract despite not having played for South Africa since their tour of England mid-2003, where he made a crucial half-century on Test debut to steer the retiring Gary Kirsten - who for obvious reasons was not offered a contract - to a hundred.
