Windies appoint coaching manager

The West Indian cricket board has announced the appointment of Darren Holder as a coaching manager.

Holder, who is currently the talent development manager at Queensland Cricket in Australia, will take up his job from June. He was among the experts, who helped Jermaine Lawson rectify his action to be able to return to international cricket, which seems to have impressed the West Indian board officials.

Holder's responsilibities will include managing the West Indian board's coach education programme and coordinating the emerging players' programme.
