Rain plays the spoilsport again

Monday, April 26 2004

The third One-Day International between West Indies and England has been abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Light showers, and over-cast conditions meant that the effects of the torrential rain that hit the Queen's Park Oval yesterday (Saturday) cause another abandonment.

Yesterday's game was also abandoned after only 16 overs were bowled by the English side.

The fourth match of seven in the series is scheduled to take place in Grenada on Wednesday. England at the moment lead the series 1-0.
