Streak returns to the fold

Inspirational Zimbabwean all-rounder Heath Streak has returned to the fold for Zimbabwe 'A' in a three day match against Sri Lanka on May 1 in Harare before the first Test which begins on May 6 in Harare.

Joining Streak are left arm spinner Raymond Price, openning batsman Trevor Gripper and all-rounder Sean Ervine.

Streak who was controversially sacked as captain after a dispute with the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU), resulted in a boycott which involed 15 of Zimbabwe's leading and promising crickets on April 2. This move effectively ends the boycott.

However, Streak will have to play under Alester Maregwede - who has been appionted captain. Streak described his selection as "excited and elated" and is looking forward to getting onto the park once more.
