Injury scare for Butcher

England's Mark Butcher could miss the first Test of the four against West Indies, due to a thigh strain.

Following his match-winning 60 for Surrey against Kent in Friday's Twenty20 fixture, Butcher complained of a strained quad muscle. He will undergo the required tests within the next few days, to determine the extent of the damage.

Butcher has two weeks' time to recover for the Test, starting July 22 at Lord's.
