Canterbury knocked the total off in 47.4 overs with Peter Fulton (76*) and Neil Broom (84*) put on a 168 run partnership for the 3rd wicket to seal victory for Canterbury.

Wellington won by 14 runs. Wellington batted first and made 248-5 off their 50 overs. James Franklin made an unbeaten 67 and Matt Walker (53* off 38 balls) were their main contributors for Wellington.

Mayo Pasupati took 4-33 as Otago were dismissed for 234 off 48.4 overs. Rob Lawson made 74 as did Craig Gaffaney, but it wasnt enough to save them as they lost with 8 balls to spare.
