Security scare ahead of Pindi clash

Security for the second one-day international between Pakistan and India in Rawalpindi has been stepped up, after a bomb was found outside a US consulate in the city.

The cricket stadium in Rawalpindi is about 10 kilometers from the spot, where two assasination attempts on Pakistani President Pervez Musharaf, were made, by Islami exteremist.

The Pakistani police force has placed 1,500 policemen around the stadium as a measure. All traffic around and about the stadium is also being scanned since Monday afternoon.
