Bond still time until return

Shane Bond is still some time off bowling again. The New Zealand Pace Bowler has been out of cricket since developing another stress fracture in his back on the Black Caps tour to Sri Lanka.

There is no definite time for his return however he is progressing well but is still some time off starting training.

Better news for batsman Nathan Astle though with his training steping up a gear this week and his return to full fitness is well under way.

The rest of the team is having a well deserved break but there are no other injury worries.
