Star Indian Batsman, Sachin Tendulkar is said to have fully recovered from a hand injury which plagued him throughout the World Cup.

Sachin Tendulkar felt pain in his hand, which then turned out to be a serious injury. Despite carrying the injury throughout the World Cup, the pain didn't seem to stop the little master as he went about his game and won the Player of the World Cup due to the plethora of runs he scored.

His run-making exploits guided India to their second ever World Cup Final where they finished runner-up to Champions Australia. Tendulkar had recently gone to the USA for surgery, and a quick recovery has pleased Indian fans.

Talking to the Press Trust of India, Sachin said, "I am fully fit now and I am very much looking forward to the New Zealand series."

This comes as good news for Indian fans throughout the world, as Tendulkar was expected to stay out of the game for a further four months due to rehabilitiation, but now with the 'little master' fully fit, India can expect to field a strong side against the visiting New Zealand.
