Bond out for 4 months

Shane Bond will be out of all cricket for up to four months following the confirmation of a stress fracture of the spine today.

This means we won't be able to take up Warwickshire's offer of being their overseas player this year. Bond hopes to return for New Zealand's tour of India later in the year.

A cat scan later this week will confirm exactly how long he'll need to get over the injury.
