Tendulkar passed fit for Nagpur

India's batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar has been passed fit for next week's third Test match between India and Australia at Nagpur.

Tendulkar will return to action for the first time since the Videocon Cup in Holland in August, during which he developed a tennis elbow condition, a result of continuous wear and tear of the elbow joint aggravated by what is suspected to be his use of heavier bats.

Tendulkar had a net session on Saturday morning, with a much lighter bat than what he's accustomed to, following which the team physiotherapist Andrew Leipus cleared him to return to cricketing action.

Tendulkar's return puts Yuvraj Singh's position in the side in danger, as Mohammad Kaif performed quite well in the former's absence, while the latter failed in both the previous Tests.
