Tsunami fundraising series annouched

The International Cricket Council has annouched a two-match series between a World XI and an Asian XI to help raise funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster.

The first match will be played on 10th January at the Melbourne Cricket Ground while the second match will be played sometime in February/March at a venue to be decided by the Asian Cricket Council.

Sir Richard Hadlee and Steven Waugh have been chosen as selectors and will name the World XI this coming Sunday which will be made up of players from Australia, New Zealand and the West Indies. The Asian XI will include players from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
