Pakistan fined to compound woes

Compounding the woes of their humiliating St. Patrick's Day defeat at the hands of Ireland, Pakistan have been fined for a slow over rate during the game.
Ireland eliminated Pakistan from the World Cup with victory by 3 wickets yesterday.
Match referee Chris Broad imposed the fine after Pakistan finished 4 overs short of the requirement. Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was fined 50 percent of his match fee, whilst the other players were fined 20 percent each.
Inzamam appealed the decision but was denied.
