ICL announce international stars

The rebel Indian Cricket League have announced their players roster for the Twenty20 tournament to take place in October of this year.

The international players are Pakistan players Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Razzaq and Imran Farhat along with South Africans Lance Klusener and Nicky Boje and the ex West Indies captain Brian Lara.

Farhat told Reuters on his decision to join the ICL "Yes I have formally signed a contract with the organisers of the Indian league but I would still love to play for my country."

Farhat went onto say "I am not happy at the way the selectors have treated me. They have not made selections on merit and I had no option but to think of my future."

A bunch of Indian internationals have also made themselves available and they are JP Yadav, Deep Dasgupta, Dinesh Mongia and Reetinder Sodhi along with a host of promising youngsters.

The Indian players confirmed are as follows:
