By: Zac Gelman

England's Twenty20 World Cup campaign has hit a serious setback after wicketkeeper Matt Prior was hurt in the nets today.

Prior was taken to a nearby hospital for scans after he injured his right thumb during a practice session.

He will be reassessed tomorrow to decide whether he will be able to play against the Kiwis at Durban. If not England will be face a sizeable problem, having not named a backup wicketkeeper in their squad for the World Cup.
