Australian three won't miss Cup

Australian officials have confirmed that Ricky Ponting, Shane Watson and Stuart Clark will all take part in this month's Twent20 World Cup.

Despite the trio missing the flight to South Africa with the rest of the squad; Ponting and Clark for personal reasons and Watson for precautionary measures after pulling up with a sore hamstring after practice, Cricket Australia has confirmed that all three will be making the trip to South Africa later in the week.

"I've been in touch with Punter and he said that he's most likely at the moment to join us again in a few days time but as I say we'll just wait and see how things pan out over the next few days," stand-in captain Gilchrist today told the media.
