Kevin Curran has taken over the hot seat of the Zimbabwe national side and hopes to revive Zimbabwe's cricketing fortunes.

Curran replaces West Indian Phil Simmons following the home series whitewash against New Zealand.

The first challenge for Curran will be the forthcoming triangular one-day series, also involving New Zealand and India, which starts next week.
