Prosper Utseya was unanomously re-appointed captain by the Zimbabwe board yesterday.

He managed to keep Tatenda Taibu out of the job, even though according to reports he was a sure favourite to take the job.

Utseya had been struggling for form during his one year stint as captain and it had been thought that if he were to give it up, his on field performances might improve.

Taibu being behind the stumps wouldn't have such a problem but apparantly he wasn't even in the picture to gain it.
