Boucher and Kallis left out
17 Aug 2007
By: Zac Gelman

Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher have been left out of the South African squad that will tour Zimbabwe for three ODIs later next week.

The star batsman made headlines this week when he resigned from the South African vice captaincy and announced he was reconsidering his options in cricket after being bitterly disappointed in being omitted from the Twenty20 World Cup squad.

Mark Boucher, who was also involved in the drama after criticising the board in the media, was also left out of the squad to allow him some time off from the game with a hectic cricket season ahead.

The three match series starts in Bulawayo on Wednesday.

Squad: Graeme Smith (cpt), Gulam Bodi, Loots Bosman, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Makhaya Ntini, Vernon Philander, Shaun Pollock, Dale Steyn, Thandi Tshabalala, Johan van der Wath.
