Taibu expected to return to Zimbabwe
27 Jun 2007
By: James Nixon

CricInfo understand that Tatenda Taibu is in talks with the Zimbabwean Cricket Board to return to playing international cricket.

Taibu quit the Zimbabwe team in November 2005 claiming his family had been threatened along with player welfare and governance issues.

Taibu went onto play in UK and Namibia where he had spells with Lashings among others.

It is understood that Taibu has been training with the Zimbabwean team in Harare and most players would like to see him return to the team and take on the captaincy role.
