Match rescheduled for tomorrow

The second ODI between Zimbabwe and South Africa will be played tomorrow, as rain prevented any play today.

It was never very hopeful that a full game would be played today. The outfield was sodden due to heavy rain during the week, and the ground staff struggled to make it suitable for play. Even had the outfield been dry, there were showers throughout the day, and the light could well have been a problem.

Following the cancellation, the teams and boards of both countries, as well as host broadcaster SuperSport agreed to play the match tomorrow as a day-nighter, with Buffalo Park's floodlights being used.
