Gibbs returns for NZ ODI Series 18 Oct 2005 By: James Nixon

Herschelle Gibbs has been given the all clear on his knee that has kept him out of cricket for two months and returns to the SAF squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand.

The South African selection panel have made only one change to the squad that thrashed the West Indies 5-0 earlier in the year, in leaving out Justin Ontong.

The full squad is as follows:

South Africa Graeme Smith (c), Nicky Boje, Mark Boucher, AB de Villiers, Boeta Dippenaar, Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Hall, Jacques Kallis (vc), Justin Kemp, Charl Langeveldt, Albie Morkel (Pro20 only), Andre Nel, Makhaya Ntini, Shaun Pollock, Ashwell Prince.
