Ntini signed by Warwickshire
29 Jun 2005
By: Liam Camps

South African pace bowler, Makhaya Ntini has been contracted to play Country cricket for a portion of the current season. The 27-year-old was signed by Warwickshire to replace Zimbabwean allrounder Heath Streak from the end of July.

There are now scheduling complications, however, as South Africa will be engaged in One Day Internationals at the end of August, before Ntini is likely selected to represent the African XI in the Africa vs Asia match.

Such conflicts will ensure an especially shortened stint for Ntini in England, as Warwickshire's final Championship match is to be played on the 24th of Septemeber.
