Bond flies home
12 Nov 2007 By: Zac Gelman |

Shane Bond's Test comeback has been cut short after he sustained an abdominal strain during the first test against South Africa.
Bond is expected to be out for four to six weeks. The match turned out to be a disaster for New Zealand, losing by 358 runs and their leading fast bowler to injury. On top of that Jacob Oram sustained a hamstring injury and is now doubtful for the second match of the series at Centurion.
Kyle Mills and Jamie How have both been called up to the squad as replacements.
