South African captain Graeme Smith has spoken of his delight with his team's brilliant turn around of the one-day series in Pakistan this week.

South Africa came from behind in both the series and the final match to deny Pakistan their first ever ODI series victory over the Proteas in memorable circumstances after taking out the Test series earlier in the tour.

"It was a hugely successful tour and it was really special to win both series," Smith said.

"We felt like we achieved something really special because we all realise how tough it is to win on the subcontinent. It was a fantastic feat by this team."
