Ireland series to go ahead
31 May 2007
By: James Nixon

The one-day series between India and South Africa in Ireland next month will go ahead as planned after the broadcasting rights were sorted out.

Initially, Zee Television pulled out of broadcasting the matches due to differences with the Indian Cricket Board.

Nimbus Sports came to the rescue however and have picked up the television rights for the series at a cost of $US6.05 million per match.

The three one-dayers will be played in Belfast on June 26, 29 and July 1st and follow a warm-up match for both nations against Ireland.
