Goodwin to play in South Africa 19 Sep 2006 By: Liam Camps

Former Zimbabwe international, Murray Goodwin is set to play cricket for the Eastern Cape Warriors in South Africa. Goodwin is presently finishing his contract for Sussex in English county cricket.

The veteran of 19 Tests retired from international cricket in 2000, toward the start of an exodus of players from the Zimbabwean national side.

Goodwin scored 1414 Test runs (42.84) and 1818 runs in one-day international cricket (27.13).
