Kallis Officially Forced Home 18 Jan 2006 By: James Nixon

Jacques Kallis has been officially ruled out of the rest of the VB Series and is to be replaced by Johan van der Wath.

As reported yesterday, Kallis has been in severe doubt following a reoccurrence of his elbow injury, and after further medical treatment today the decision was made to send him home.

Johan van der Wath from the Eagles domestic team has been named as his replacement. van der Wath is a hard hitting all-rounder who plays in a similar fashion to Justin Kemp.
