Bangladeshi all rounder Manjural Islam has been tragically killed in a car accident, at the age of just 22.

Also killed in the accident was first-class player Sajjadul Hasan. Police have said the pair were on a motorbike driven by Manjural, which lost control and crashed into the railings of a bridge in Khulna. Both had taken part in a domestic game the previous day, in which Manjural took four wickets.

The 22-year old played in 6 Test matches and 25 ODIs for his country, and was regarded as a talented player with both bat and ball. His last ODI was against Kenya in 2006, and his last Test against India in 2004.
