Brian Lara has returned to the top of the international test rankings following his good knocks in the current test series against South Africa.

Lara has moved four points clear of Jacques Kallis to lead with 886 points.

While Andre Nel has forced his way to 8th in the bowling rankings which in turn means Danish Kaneria drops out of the top ten into eleven place.
